The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Fighters Group

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a wide array of personalities, and a thrilling plot including celestial beings, demons, and malevolent powers growing in strength within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for Episode 3 of the new season follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The latest chapter ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of heroes who will split off from the primary party to undertake their own adventure, separate from the additional parties.

This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), Thimble (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (the cast member), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who enjoy a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven narrative style where non-violent answers are scarce.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the events of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the group has a clear idea where to head next after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—manipulated the foes for his own means, entering the secret base, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the powerful objects to dispose of.

Casimir then settled his obligations and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, beyond the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each member has a personal reason to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in Timmony and warns that it is a nasty location.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having resisted his family’s wishes to kill Teor and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • However, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could assist the team enter locations they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter vowed a life debt to The cleric for his salvation and will now go with him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are wanted by the powers that govern the city for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The cleric defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This leaves them little choice but to journey toward the northern region in quest for the traitor.

Future Episodes

Based on the recent installment’s Cooldown, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight participants to round up the Questers and Schemers groups.

Viewers can look forward to learning which characters will be where in the season’s final introductory chapter, released on the upcoming Thursday.
